They came from China to work for a Chinese company in Dubai. In their words, they found grace and got the highest medal; Islam, and received the most precious certificate; that of Islam. They believed that destiny was saving them an unexpected present in Dubai when they converted to Islam in 6/12/2003 in the Department of Mulsim Affairs. Mona says: “I was a non believer living in China, and I was always wondering who created the rain that falls from the sky on a certain city in China and not on another? Who created both strange and wonderful creatures? What happens after death? And many other questions that remained unanswered. Then I started to consider one’s purpose in life, and the necessity for one to have a God to worship and pray to when in need. Life is meaningless without knowing, worshiping and praying to the Creator.” 

Iman says: “I agree with Mona in all that she says. And I am certain that we live in a corrupt, misguided and morally chaotic society. We didn’t find a way to save ourselves until we came to Dubai.” Iman told the story of her conversion to Islam: “We came to work in Dubai for a Chinese company, and started to find answers to these questions. No comparison could be made between Dubai, where one Creator is worshiped, and China where no one religion prevails.” 

Iman added: “After working in Dubai, I found morals prevailing among the people in this Muslim country. When I saw the respect that Muslim women commended, covering the whole body, distancing themselves from exposure to sin, I became sure that this is the religion I was looking for. I was sure it would provide me with security and allow me to achieve my ambitions. I knew some Muslim women and they guided me to the Department of Muslim Affairs in Dubai where I was received graciously by the chair of the new Muslim women section, and provided me with all the necessary information about Islam. And we converted to Islam.” 

“Now we wish for all our friends and relatives in China to know it is the religion of security, peace, purity, joy in this world and in heaven.”
